Perhaps it is fitting to listen to a track that critiques today's herd behaviour while reminding us of the overly commercialised eighties pop culture. "OneOldSix" leans on the heavily produced, mechanical synth-pop genre and engages the listener to question a heritage of pointless consumption. All the while celebrating a culture reminiscent of coastguards leaping into waves at Malibu beach or skateboarding youthfully 'back into the future'.
Have we since then broken the chain of mindless obedience or is it as the rephrain says: 'all we do is follow'?
